This is an original Second World War Silver Fronted Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Lapel Badge Number 53701. This example is in very good condition all round with only minor wear to the front and rear of the badge. It has not been over cleaned and the backing is original and has not been damaged or replaced. These were worn by for duty member of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve during and after the war on there civilian clothing. This example is war time made with the kings crown above the eagle.
