This is a WW2 Royal Signals Brass Button Lighter Trench Art Souvenir. This example is made from a pair of Royal Signals brass buttons which have been turned into a lighter. This example is in good condition with some minor wear and a few small dents as shown but nothing major. It is fully functioning but has been drained of lighter fuel as it cannot be sent in the post with any lighter fluid present. These were made by servicemen on leave or on down time in trenches or back lines. Please see photos for condition.
