This is a genuine WW2 British RAF pocket clasp knife with marlin spike. This example is marked AM for (Air Ministry). It has the code 22P/11 (stores ref), GI & Co (manufactured by George Ibberson and Co). These Knives were issued as part of the Beadon flying suit (lightweight flying overalls) and the tropical survival kit. These are very hard and unusal to find. This example was found on an old RAF base in the 1960s which was the story we were told but we have no evidence of this.
