This is an original WW2 British Home Front H.G Home Guard Gilt & Enamel Lapel Badge. This example is in very good condition all round with only minor wear. It has no chips or damage to the enamel. It has its original rear clip and has not been re done. These would have been worn by member of the home guard when they were not in uniform so that it should they were doing there bit for the war and not confused with those who chose not to help.
