WW2 British Army 1939 Dated 37 Pattern Sten / Bren Utility Pouche.
Original MkIII 37 Pattern Sten / Bren Magazine Utility Pouche
Introduced in 1942,the MkIII Pouch Featured a Number of Changes over its Predecessors.
Firstly its Length was Increased by ½” so Sten Gun Magazines Could Fit In A Metal Drainage Grommet was Added to the Base of the Pouch and late in WWII the Press Stud was Replaced by a Two Part Quick Release Buckle.
It is dated 1941 and has very strong markings as shown in Photos. This example has some writing on one of the sides sadly.
