This is and original WW1/WW2 Era Silver and Mother Of Pearl Welsh Guards Sweetheart Broach. This is an original example in worn condition. It has had a small dent to the rear where it was most likely dropped at some point. There is no damage to the enamel or mother of pearl backing. It still has it's original rear pin which still works well. We are unsure how old this example is but we belive from the style and quality that it was most likely made for th first world war but cannot be any newer than the 1940s.
