Offered is an original November 1915 dated & Australian Issued Wilkinson made First World War 1907 pattern bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet & scabbard features steel fittings, with Australian issued scabbard. It's in used condition wooden grips and metal guard. The 43 cm long steel blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to the centre of each side of the blade and stamped Wilkinson (Wilkinson), dated for November 1915. The blade being factory sharpened only, with most of the original protective blued finish to blade. Standard leather & metal WW2 1944/45 dated issue marked scabbard.
