This is an original WW1 British Suffolk regiment cap badge. This example is in good condition all round with its original red felt backing. It has had the rear clip removed and a screw backing added with a brass screw thread and nut. We believe this was done to go onto a dress cap as the normal rear slide do not fit well and move easily compared to the screw on examples.
