This is a WW1 German 1917 Dated 77mm Shell Case Trench Art. This example is dated December 1917 and has just recently been brought back to the UK. This was once a german shell which has been turned into a peice of trench art. This example is in very good condtion with minor wear, it has a slight split at the top but that comes with age with this item being over 100 year old.
