This is a World War One 1916 Dated French Army 75mm Shell Case Trench Art Souvenir of Verdun. This example is in good condition all round with a large amount of detail and work having been done to this empty case to turn it into a nice piece of "trench art". This example is over 110 years old and was turned into a souvenior of Verdun which was a huge and major battle of the first world war.
