This is an original Vietnam Era US Air Force Black Leather Revolver Ammunition Pouch April 1974 Dated. This example is in good condition with minor wear. This would have been issued to pilots and other members inside the air crew. Revolvers were issued as if you were to injure your arm in a crash or when bailing out you could still fire a revolver but if you were issued an automatic pistol which would require cocking would be a problem as you could not do this one handed compared to a double action revolver.
