This is an Original WW2 British Army Royal Engineers Cap Badge. This example is in good condition with minor wear from where it has been cleaned and polished in the past. It is made form two types of metal and then pressed together as you can see with the brass badge and silver metal backing. It has both of its original rear lugs and pin.
