This is an original Pre WW2 German 1936 Dated 20mm Brass Cased Shell Case With Fired Head. This example is in solid condition with some patina and wear to the outer case as shown. This example is dated 1936 on the bottom with the German acceptance stamp on the bottom which is visible. These rounds were most used by the Flak 38 anti aircraft gun. This example was purchased in Normandy but we have no proof this is where it originally came from. This example comes complete with an original fired head which has obviously hit something rather hard at some point.
