Bayonet features bluened metal fittings overall, with double waffen stamped pommel with working external release button, with screw in bakelite grips and metal guard & muzzle ring. The 25 cm long blade shows the ‘blood groove’ to each side of the blade, good spear point, with blade being in generally very good condition overall with much of the original blued finish. Ricasso stamped 4811a & MUNDLOS (Mundlos AG of Magdeburg) with date 38 (1938) to spine. Standard metal scabbard with most of the protective brown finish, with matching numbers & details. It also comes with an original standard leather frog.
