DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a WW1 1917 dated French 37mm (37 x 94R) Pom Pom solid shot round. The brass cartridge case is head stamped 37-85 1.17 (January 1917 date) 185 PDPs (Parc ‘dArtillery de Paris). The pointed steel projectile has two copper driving bands. No licence is required to possess this round in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. This example is in great condition a must for any ww1 or ordinance collector.
