Deactivated Lee Enfield No.4 1942
Description

This is an original .303 calibre S.M.L.E. No.4 rifle as used in WW2, Korea and the Suez Crisis. The all original woodwork and metal work of this weapon are in excellent condition. It has a winged fore sight, correct flip up rear sight and brass butt plate with trap. It is stamped ROF 1942 but then painted over and then it is clearly stamped F(FTR) 1948, which means it went back for (Factory thorough repair) in 1948. This example strips, cocks and dry fires. Comes with period bakelite oil bottle and pull threw which go inside the brass butt plate. (For Non EU Sales Only) Please email before making purchase.
