Fastened by three plastic buttons to the front, the liner is collarless and without sleeves.LabelWorn over the shirt and 'Wooly Pully' jumper, in cold weather the liner was worn as an additional layer of clothing beneath the combat smock in the 1970s, early 1980s. Much like the previous leather jerkin, soldiers often wore the liner as a top garment when driving vehicles, cleaning weapons, or when digging trenches, depending on the tactical situation.This example is in very good condition all round with no holes or stains.
