Original Rare British Army 1944 Pattern Water Bottle Canteen and Webbing Pouch. Part of the 1944 Pattern Jungle Webbing Equipment. As used in the Malayan Emergency, Cyprus Emergency, Suez Crisis, Aden Emergency, and by special forces thereafter. This example is in mostly good condition for its age. The bottle has a few marks (see pictures), but no significant damage that I can see. The lid is worn and has some minor crazing (see pictures). The inside has some oxidisation / marks (see pictures). The mug is in good condition. The webbing pouch is in good condition and fittings all work. The top of the bottle and lid has been painted black at some point to remover the shine from the bottle which can poke out slight from the cover. The cup is dated 1963, the bottle and pouch are undated.
