This is the model 1884/98 III bayonet for the WW2 German Mauser K98 infantry rifle. Marked 43 clc on the top of the blade and 42asw on the scabbard. This bayonet is in super condition, the blade has a perfect edge and point, and shows no signs of sharpening, with lovely original bluing to the blade, and scabbard. Very good Bakelite grips and most with great bluing all over. This example also has clear Waffenamt stamps on the pommel, cross guard and flash guard. The scabbard is in good condition, no dents at all, Waffenamt stamped on the scabbard as well . A great addition to any K98 rifle. ||SOLD||
